Her work has given her a comprehensive understanding of both the student journey and the systems that shape it behind the scenes.
Throughout her career, she has worked at the intersection of student support and institutional operations—guiding students and families through complex academic and financial decisions, while also identifying opportunities for institutions to improve processes, communication, and overall service delivery.
This perspective has shaped her approach: one that prioritizes clarity, strategy, and intentional support. She believes that navigating the college journey should not feel overwhelming or uncertain, but instead structured, informed, and aligned with each student’s goals.

Throughout her career, she has worked closely with students and families navigating academic and financial processes, while also collaborating with teams to improve communication, strengthen support services, and enhance the overall student experience.
As Director of Student and Partner Services at Elevate U, Karina plays a central role in supporting both student-facing guidance and institutional partnerships. She contributes to the development of training, processes, and strategies designed to better support students while also helping schools and organizations strengthen the services they provide.
